Import Rate Group

Steps to Import Rate Group

  1. Navigate to Admin MenuData

  2. Select Create Rates

  3. Click Import

  4. Click Choose File and browse the Rate sheet

  5. Click Validate. On successful validation, click Upload Rates. This button is enabled only when the rates have been successfully validated with no errors. These rates can be linked to any plan or group.

  6. Click Cancel to cancel the upload process.

Importing rates for an existing Rate Description

Rates can be imported to create a new rate group or to update an existing rate groups. Updating an existing rate group may result in below scenarios.

  • If the rate description exists and the new set has a different effective date, the new rates can be imported. These new rates will be effective from the new effective date. In this case the existing rate group is not expired automatically. User need to update the Rate Expiration Date manually.
  • If the rate description exists and the new set has the same effective date as the existing set but different active from dates, the new rates can be imported.
  • If the rate description exists and the new set has the same effective and active from dates, the new rates can be imported. This means old rates are totally replaced by new rates. And the existing rate group is automatically updated. The expiration date on the existing rate group is updated to the value of the effective date and the active to date is updated to the active from date.

Steps to Expire rates:

  1. Click AdminData

  2. Select Search Rates, the search rate screen appears

  3. Enter the Rate Group description, in the Rate Group field

  4. Click Find to expand the rate group and display the rate group details

  5. Enter the Rate Expiration Date

  6. Click Save, to save the modification
